This comedy was Neil Simon's first play produced on Broadway and is a typical slick, funny comedy set in the Jewish community of New York.
Harry Baker, owner of the largest artificial fruit business in the East, is the father of two sons. Alan, the elder son, is the playboy who tries his father's patience by only working when it suits him and by going on golfing or ski-ing jaunts with his lady friends. Buddy, the younger son, who has been living at home with his parents decides to move in with his brother and as a result, their personalities are transformed.
