"I'm Charley's Aunt. From Brazil. Where the nuts come from...." This classic Victorian farce, set in Oxford in 1892, concerns three male students; Jack, Charley and Fancourt Babberley. The imminent visit of Charley's aunt, Donna Lucia from Brazil, provides an excuse for Charles and Jack to invite their young ladies to meet her. But when a telegram arrives to announce that Donna Lucia is to postpone her visit, Fancourt Babberley reluctantly agrees to impersonate Charley's rich aunt.
