Performed by Pinner Players on Thursday 21st February to Saturday 23rd February 2008

Ken Harrison is a bright, funny and talented sculptor who is used to being in control of his life. He has been in hospital for six months after a devastating road accident. He is paralysed from the neck down.

He knows that he will henceforth be dependent on those around him. And he doesn't want the doctors to keep him alive any longer. But his doctor insists that he must stay alive, and that no sane person can want to die.

As the individual at the centre of  this witty but thought provoking play, Ken can make us laugh and often does. He could make us cry, but doesn't want to. What he does want is to be heard and to reclaim the decisions about his own life and death.  A deceptively simple storyline, Whose Life is it Anyway? examines one of the most complex medical and moral issues of our times.  The subject matter is as relevant today as it was when it won the Society of West End Theatre's award for best play, back in 1978.
